BK Distribution System

General

The BK system comprises several components and accessories for the easy preparation of small distribution boards.

All components are contained and supported by a unique modular panel structure of small dimensions (114 x 228 mm).

This series can be used for built-in mounting (boards, panels, spaces in machines, etc).

When completed with their boxes (single, triple, etc.) the BK components become like the traditional wall mounting with the advantage of installing the boxes first and of wiring them afterwards in the most opportune way.

Characteristics

• All the components (modules, boxes, covers) are manufactured in glass fibre reinforced polyester (PETP), colour grey RAL 7035.
• Therefore they are particularly resistant to shocks, heat, sustained arcing, tracking, self-extinguishing class V-0 according to UL 94, resistance to the glow-wire test at 960C according to IEC 695-2-1.
• The resistance to corrosions together witht he use of stainless steel for all exterior metallic parts (screws, pins, springs, etc) and the high degree of protection of the series (IP 67), gives to this system a great reliability under severe ambient conditions: open air installations, places subject to atmospheric aggressions, low temperatures, tropical climate.
• This series is suitable for applications in ambiences with a greater risk in case of fire.
• Degree of protection (BS EN 60529) IP 67.

“zeta”: series switch according to IEC 408 certification IENGF (Italian National Electrical Institute “Galileo Ferraris”) with screw-type fuse carriers for cylindrical cartridges 10.3 x 38 mm in accordance with NFC 63210 (IEC 269-2) standards.

Socket-outlets in compliance with EN 60309 1-2 (IEC 309-1 and 309-2) bayonet-jointed lid colour coded in accordance with the operating voltage.

Locked cover with switch in “ON” position, handling of the switch with open cover not possible. Mechanical interlock which prevents the handling of the switch when the plug is withdrawn and the withdrawal of the plug when the switch is “ON”

Room with DIN EN 50022 (35mm) fixing rail, for the fixing of circuit-breakers up to 4 modules.

Socket outlet already wired. Supplied with accessories for the mounting of the different circuit breaker types.

Light signalling when circuit-breaker intervenes.
